Date: Saturday July 15, 2017
Time: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Location: The Olive Grove at Rankin Park in Martinez
Bring your own picnic lunch & blanket or chair, if you can!!! Free hot dogs, chips, & water will be provided for the first 500 people, plus free games, photo booth, face painting, and live music by “the Hipwaders”, and many homeless outreach resource booths and a chance to mingle!!!
Passion to the Streets is hosting this community picnic in order to unite individuals, who share a heart for helping the thousands of students in our neighborhoods who are without homes.
Many of us have a desire to get involved or help, but don't know how or where to start. We will provide resources/information, that you might not be aware of, while encouraging community unity, as we work together to restore dignity and value, one student at a time. This will also be a chance for you to brainstorm with your neighbors for solutions to the student homelessness crisis.
Please join us to promote awareness and to explore opportunities to provide a positive impact to end student homelessness!!! Everyone is welcome!!! Spread the word!!!
By sowing seeds of kindness and love into the fabric of our community, we will create a healthy legacy in which future generations can and will continue to grow & thrive ~"Eve"
